confOn Saturday I made my way to the first ever Nosy Crow children’s book conference in London. It was a superb day in all respects, with panels covering everything from what publishers (and in particular Nosy Crow) like when they receive submissions from authors and illustrators, to the role of an agent, the importance of sharing on social media and a brilliant presentation by author Tracey Corderoy explaining how to create a brilliant presentation for children. I met some very friendly and interesting people, gathered a little selection of business cards and gave away a little selection of my own too.
