A project which ran alongside the recent typographic postcards I created for the NHS “Choose Well” campaign, was this one, which required friendly and informative illustrations, to help parents decide the best course of action arising from their child’s symptoms.
Everything was colour coded, including the children’s clothing, according to the severity of illness and which service to access, from blue (meaning self care at home) to red (meaning a trip to Accident and Emergency).
This then lead on to illustrations of other people presenting symptoms which are all being used to create bus stop advertising, flyers and leaflets promoting the campaign, throughout the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire regions.
Joy – these look fab. Love the idea of the colour co-ordinating the children’s clothes too!
