What is classed as personal data?
Personal data in a broad sense is any information that could be used to identify you (such as your name, date of birth, email address, IP address, etc). I try and limit any personal data I collect to a minimum and aim to only keep this information as long as I feel is necessary. There are some instances where I am legally obliged to keep your information for a determined period of time.

- Telephone number
- Email address

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive. We use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
Analytics
I may collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit my website (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of my website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
How long do I retain your data?
If you leave a comment on my site, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
I may keep any email correspondence for up to 24 months by default (including contact form entries), and any invoices/information relating to invoices for at least six years.
What rights do you have over your data?
You can request that I erase any personal data I hold about you at any time. This does not include any data that I am legally required to keep for legal or security purposes.
